Oh Don't Stop the Carnival

 Every year during the August Bank Holiday, the streets of Notting Hill play host to the largest street carnival in Europe. Spread over 2 days, the roads around Ladbroke Grove are transformed into a sea of colour, fantastic costumes, floats, steel bands and thousands of partygoers. It is a celebration of the cultural diversity in the area. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but as the song goes "oh don't stop the carnival".
